A new exhibit, Art of Indigenous Science/Science of Indigenous Art, offers a unique window into the world of Indigenous knowledge, centering community voices and lived experiences from across the Arctic. Through stories of challenge, resilience, transformation, and success, the exhibit invites visitors to rethink Arctic research priorities through the lens of Indigenous knowledge holders and on the terms defined by their communities. This collaborative exhibit is presented by NNA-CO, the NSF-funded Frozen Commons project (2021–2026), Arctic Indigenous Virtual Artists Network (AIVAN), and other Indigenous artists. It reflects a shared commitment to guiding Arctic research through Indigenous perspectives and to honoring the deep interconnections between creativity, science, and community well-being.
